Since its start in January 2024, Blockchain4Her has centered on four strategic pillars: Elevating, Empowering, Educating, and Embracing. The initiative has achieved significant milestones, including funding for 11 women-led startups through the Pitch n’ Slay competition, reaching over 300,000 individuals via UNICEF’s Game Changers Coalition, and facilitating thousands of women’s engagement in worldwide meetups. The launch of “Lady Forward” marks an evolution towards fostering sustained leadership pipelines and enhancing community impacts.
Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget and the driving force behind Blockchain4Her, expressed that the phrase “‘Lady first’” is an external label, while “‘Lady Forward’ is a self-driven action.” This statement emphasizes a proactive approach where women are encouraged to lead and shape the narrative of Web3 on their own terms.
