Two individuals sustained injuries in a traffic accident that occurred in Sonora, California, during the nine o’clock hour this morning. The incident took place on Mono Way near the intersection with Haystack Road, prompting a response from the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Preliminary reports indicate that an 86-year-old woman from Sonora was operating a Chevrolet sedan when her vehicle veered off the roadway. The car struck an embankment and subsequently collided with a guardrail. The crash caused temporary blockage of Mono Way in both directions, impacting local traffic.
