In a significant announcement, the next-generation Web3 investor and market maker, DWF Labs, has reaffirmed its commitment to the Web3 Unleashed hackathon for the third consecutive year. As the official event partner, DWF Labs will be actively involved in the DMCC x Bybit hackathon while contributing a substantial amount to the competition’s $140,000 prize pool.
The 2025 iteration of Web3 Unleashed is themed “Shaping the Next Wave of Web3,” with submissions starting from September 1 through October 5. Organized by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) in collaboration with the Bybit exchange, this global hackathon is designed to stimulate innovation and development within the Web3 space.
DWF Labs will not only augment the prize pool but will also have its team members serve as judges throughout the event. This year’s hackathon introduces two new tracks focusing on DeFAI, which merges decentralized finance with artificial intelligence, and DeSci, dedicated to advancements in decentralized science and research.
The initiative boasts an impressive list of sponsors including Hacken, Cointelegraph, Open Platform, Blockchain for Good Alliance, Verse8, CROSS, and the Blockchain Gaming Alliance, signifying a robust support network for participants aiming to create practical solutions addressing real-world challenges.
Participants will have the opportunity to transform their ideas into viable solutions, benefiting from mentorship provided by seasoned founders, investors, and entrepreneurs. The aim is to empower developers and startup teams to secure a foothold within the industry. The most promising submissions will receive resources necessary to bring their innovative concepts to fruition.

After the application period concludes on October 5, submissions will be evaluated, with the top five teams invited to a live demo day on November 26 at DMCC’s flagship commercial tower, S/O Uptown Dubai. This live presentation will be attended by various investors, advisors, and industry specialists, including representatives from DWF Labs, Bybit, and other key organizations, culminating in an awards ceremony and afterparty.
