Cosmoverse, the premier conference for the Cosmos blockchain ecosystem, is set to take place in Split, Croatia, from October 30 to November 1, 2025, at the luxurious Le Méridien Lav. This marks the fifth iteration of the event, representing a significant moment for Southeast Europe as it unites a diverse group of blockchain pioneers, institutional leaders, and developers who will delve into the future of sovereign infrastructure, interoperability, and the real-world integration of blockchain technologies.
This year’s event highlights the increasing intersection of the decentralized Web3 landscape with established institutions. Notable speakers include Prof. Dragan Primorac, the former Croatian Minister of Science, Education, and Sports; Anina Milanović, who heads International Cooperation and Development at the Serbian Securities Commission; and Bojan Petrović, Advisor at the Securities Commission of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. These figures stand as key regulatory voices in the region, lending their insights to the discussions.
Additionally, the conference will feature Linardo Martincević, who serves as Advisor in the Governor’s Office and FinTech Coordinator at the Croatian National Bank. He is also a member of the Eurosystem’s High-Level Task Force focusing on Central Bank Digital Currency as part of the Digital Euro initiative. Andrius Bičeika, a Member of the Supervisory Council at Revolut, along with Dr. Bernhard Kronfellner, Partner and Associate Director at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), will offer global fintech perspectives to enrich the dialogue.
Leadership from the Cosmos community will be prominently represented by the Co-CEOs of Interchain Labs, Maghnus Mareneck and Barry Plunkett. As custodians of the Cosmos Tech Stack, Interchain Labs will engage in conversations regarding the advancement of the world’s most widely adopted blockchain framework.
“Cosmoverse aims to be the most accessible and inclusive conference in Web3, fostering connections among the global Cosmos community of developers and contributors while also reaching out to new audiences. Split and the Southeast European region are ideally positioned as fast-emerging crypto hubs, home to notable builders and exceptional developer talent,” stated Michael (Cryptocito), Founder of Cosmoverse.
The conference will feature a range of curated programming covering critical themes, including artificial intelligence, stablecoins, decentralized finance (DeFi), Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) interoperability, bitcoin infrastructure, zero-knowledge proofs, and real-world asset tokenization. Attendees can also look forward to the Hackmos x DoraHacks hackathon, a Cosmos Ventures pitching competition, and an Executive Track specifically designed for institutional leaders and executives exploring blockchain adoption.
Roberto Cassa, Marketing Director of Cosmoverse, expressed enthusiasm about the event’s local impact, stating, “Bringing Cosmoverse to Split creates a unique opportunity to connect the global Cosmos community with a vibrant local ecosystem. We believe this event can ignite long-term growth in the regional Web3 space by attracting talent, investment, and innovation to Southeast Europe.”
As Cosmos continues to expand its role in supporting sovereign, modular infrastructure for both public and private use, Cosmoverse 2025 aims to solidify Split’s position as a regional hub for blockchain-driven transformation.
Blockchain builders, institutions, and innovators from all over the globe are encouraged to gather at this flagship Cosmos event in Croatia to participate in shaping the future of the Internet of Blockchains.
