Spotify is set to implement another price increase for its Premium subscription service in the United States, marking the third hike in pricing since the beginning of 2023. This adjustment will also affect subscribers in Estonia and Latvia, with the company notifying users about the updated fees over the next month.

Effective with the next billing cycle, the cost of individual Premium plans in the U.S. will rise from $11.99 to $12.99. For students, the price will increase from $5.99 to $6.99. The increases are even more pronounced for some shared plans, with the Duo subscription seeing a jump from $16.99 to $18.99 and the Family plan escalating from $19.99 to $21.99.

While these changes specifically pertain to the U.S. market, subscribers in Estonia and Latvia can find the updated pricing by visiting Spotify’s website. In its announcement, the company stated that the periodic adjustments in pricing reflect the value it provides, emphasizing that these increases allow Spotify to continue enhancing the user experience and supporting artists.

In an email to subscribers, Spotify explained that the decision to raise prices is rooted in its commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining a platform that benefits both listeners and music creators alike. The move comes as part of Spotify’s strategy to ensure sustained growth and investment in its services.
