Defend American Jobs, a Republican-aligned affiliate of the crypto super PAC Fairshake, has announced a robust investment of $5 million to bolster U.S. Representative Barry Moore’s campaign for the open U.S. Senate seat in Alabama. The initiative, which will roll out over the next five weeks, includes a targeted advertising campaign that prominently features President Donald Trump’s endorsement of Moore. This campaign will utilize various platforms, including broadcast television, Fox News, and streaming services, to reach voters statewide.

In a statement regarding the support, Defend American Jobs expressed confidence in Moore’s ability to advocate for American jobs and spearhead innovation in the economy. “Barry Moore will protect American jobs and champion innovation,” the group stated. They emphasized their support for Moore as a leader dedicated to fostering economic growth and positioning the U.S. as a leader in the cryptocurrency space.

Moore, currently representing Alabama’s 1st Congressional District and a member of the House Freedom Caucus, declared his candidacy for the Senate in August after incumbent Senator Tommy Tuberville chose to run for governor instead of seeking re-election. Trump had previously endorsed Moore in January, describing him as a “good friend, fighter, and WINNER.”

This financial commitment signifies one of the earliest and most substantial financial contributions from the crypto industry for the 2026 federal election cycle. Throughout his tenure in the House, Moore has demonstrated a commitment to pro-crypto legislation, including his support for the GENIUS Act, which established a regulatory framework for stablecoins that was signed into law last year, as well as legislation aimed at regulating digital commodities.

In a recent endorsement acceptance, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis, a prominent advocate for crypto and blockchain policy, highlighted Moore’s commitment to the values of freedom, privacy, and opportunity that cryptocurrencies represent. She noted Moore as one of the few congressional members to personally hold crypto assets, underscoring his understanding of the industry.

As the Republican primary approaches on May 19, Moore is contending with several opponents, including Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall, former Navy SEAL Jared Hudson, Tuberville’s former advisor Morgan Murphy, and businessman Rodney Walker. Moore’s candidacy is expected to be influenced heavily by the growing interest in cryptocurrency and its regulatory landscape, as well as the backing from powerful political and industry figures.
