In Chennai, both standard and pure gold prices are notably higher than in the other cities. The cost for standard gold (22 carat) is Rs 1,13,192 per 8 grams, and pure gold (24 carat) is priced at Rs 1,23,488. This premium might be attributed to local demand and festive buying patterns prevalent in the region.
Hyderabad mirrors Mumbai’s pricing for standard gold (22 carat), which is also at Rs 1,11,712 per 8 grams. Pure gold (24 carat) matches the price in Mumbai as well, coming in at Rs 1,21,872.
