MoonPay has officially announced the acquisition of Entendre, a firm renowned for its development of AI-equipped accounting agents tailored for stablecoin and fintech enterprises. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing MoonPay’s financial technology infrastructure, which serves to facilitate payments and manage digital assets.
Entendre excels in creating software that aids businesses in handling a variety of financial operations including accounting, reconciliations, treasury functions, and financial reporting, all while working seamlessly across different entities and currencies. By integrating Entendre’s capabilities into its existing ecosystem, MoonPay introduces a new suite of automated finance operations tools, significantly streamlining processes for its users.
The integration of Entendre’s technology will allow the MoonPay platform to connect smoothly with established financial tools such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Ramp, Stripe, Slack, and Gmail. Furthermore, the platform will also accommodate custom integrations, enabling companies to link accounting agents directly to their internal systems and data sources.
For current users of Entendre, the transition will be smooth, with assurances of uninterrupted service as MoonPay steps in. The company has indicated plans to roll out deeper integrations in the upcoming months, which promises to enhance the functionality of its platform further.
This acquisition comes on the heels of several others made by MoonPay in recent times. Earlier this year, the company added Sodot, a specialized digital asset key management provider, to its roster, which played a vital role in establishing the MoonPay Institutional division. Additionally, recent acquisitions of Decent and DFlow underscore MoonPay’s commitment to fortifying its infrastructure dedicated to trade execution and tokenization services.
With these developments, MoonPay is positioning itself at the forefront of the fintech and digital asset landscape, ready to deliver innovative solutions to its growing clientele.
