Hosted at Gameorama, a gaming museum in Lucerne, this two-day event was a highlight of the first week for students from the University of Lucerne, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and PH Luzern. The schedule included educational sessions covering essential topics such as cryptocurrencies and decentralized finance, followed by a diverse gaming segment featuring VR, board games, card games, and classic arcade games.

The partnership is set to evolve, with plans for a workshop at HSLU Informatik & Wirtschaft focusing on “DeFi 2.0 and the Rise of Real-World Assets.” This event will delve into key sector topics, including tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), cross-chain DeFi protocols, Swiss regulatory environments, and advanced yield strategies.
Long-term, the initiative aims to expand its university network to other ESN branches across Europe and to formulate a structured curriculum for existing crypto education initiatives. This collaboration with ESN Luzern is a part of Bitget’s global initiative, Blockchain4Youth, a multi-year program designed to cultivate practical skills in blockchain among the next generation of students. Blockchain4Youth aims to reach one million students and early professionals by 2026 through workshops, hackathons, and industry collaborations.
