Bitget, the leading Universal Exchange (UEX) globally, has announced its renewed partnership with the Google Developer Group on Campus (GDGoC) at ETH Zurich. This collaboration is part of Bitget’s educational initiative, Blockchain4Youth, designed to enhance students’ understanding of emerging technologies through various events such as hackathons and workshops in the upcoming year.
The Google Developer Group on Campus at ETH Zurich provides a platform for students interested in technology, fostering a vibrant community with over 1,260 similar clubs worldwide. Established in 2020, this Zurich chapter focuses on promoting technology-related knowledge among ETH Zurich students, known for its prominence in science, technology, and engineering. The group organizes various activities, including talks, study jams, hack nights, and community events that draw in developers, designers, and researchers.
Under the partnership, Bitget will co-host educational initiatives aimed at enriching students’ knowledge and skills in new technologies. The events will feature discussions and practical activities centered around the Web3 market. Additionally, students will have an opportunity to partake in a Graduate Program, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the industry.
Ignacio Aguirre, Chief Marketing Officer of Bitget, expressed pride in the ongoing collaboration, highlighting the mutual commitment to innovation and education. He emphasized the importance of education in understanding and navigating the rapidly changing landscape of the Web3 sector.
Dario Monopoli, Lead for GDG on Campus Zurich, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting its significance beyond mere sponsorship. He believes this collaboration will provide students with practical insights into algorithmic trading and blockchain infrastructure, bridging theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
Earlier this year, Bitget’s alliance with GDG led to the sponsorship of various events, commencing with the “Build with AI” Hackathon at Constructor University, which attracted 130 participants. Other significant events included the “AI accelerate Hack” at KU Leuven in Belgium and the Devfest at Google’s offices in Brussels in late November.
Future initiatives under this partnership may feature collaborative hackathons and special meetups, offering sessions with industry experts and interactive workshops. Bitget’s aim is to actively contribute to the growth of the Web3 community and to highlight the myriad benefits that blockchain technology can offer.
