In a much-anticipated matchup this Sunday Night, the Cowboys are set to welcome back tight end Jake Ferguson and edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney, both of whom were previously deemed questionable due to injuries. Ferguson managed to recover from a calf issue, while Clowney, who missed last week’s matchup against the Lions due to a hamstring strain, will also be back in action.
However, the Cowboys’ lineup will see some notable absences. Wide receiver Jalen Tolbert, running back Jaydon Blue, starting left tackle Tyler Guyton, along with defensive tackles Jay Toia and Perrion Winfrey, have all been declared inactive for the game. Nate Thomas is expected to step into the starting role at left tackle in place of Guyton for the second consecutive week.
On the opposing side, the Vikings will be without left tackle Christian Darrisaw due to a knee injury. Although he was questionable to play leading up to the game, he has officially been ruled inactive. This will mark Justin Skule’s fourth start of the season as he takes over Darrisaw’s responsibilities on the offensive line.
Additional players listed as inactive for the Vikings include offensive tackle Walter Rouse, edge rusher Chazz Chambliss, and defensive tackle Elijah Williams. Both teams will be looking to exploit their opponent’s weaknesses as they aim for a crucial victory under the lights.
