DraftKings has officially partnered with the cryptocurrency platform and CFTC-regulated derivatives exchange Crypto.com to expand its offerings in the predictions market. This collaboration marks a significant step for DraftKings Predictions as it introduces the first player-specific sports event contracts on the platform, specifically for the NFL and NBA.
Jeanine Hightower-Sellitto, Senior Vice President and General Manager of DraftKings Predictions, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating that it exemplifies their commitment to leveraging expertise in sports and technology. “We’re continuing to build momentum behind DraftKings Predictions by leveraging our expertise across sports and technology and integrating additional CFTC-regulated exchanges like Crypto.com,” she explained. The integration aims to enhance customer access to a wider array of sports and prediction markets, offering a more comprehensive and engaging experience.
As part of the expansion, DraftKings Predictions will also include diverse sports prediction markets like soccer, MMA, golf, boxing, tennis, and the Olympic Games, complementing the existing offerings provided by the CME Group. This broadens the scope of prediction possibilities for users in states where DraftKings operates.
When the platform was launched in December 2025, it initially set its sights on connecting to multiple exchanges, starting with CME Group. The recent partnership with Crypto.com indicates that DraftKings is now executing its initial vision for enhanced exchange connections.
Travis McGhee, Global Head of Predictions at Crypto.com, highlighted the significance of this collaboration. He noted that connecting with a renowned name in the sports industry like DraftKings constitutes a pivotal moment for Crypto.com, enabling a broader reach across various prediction markets beyond just sports, including cryptocurrencies and even entertainment and politics. “We are thrilled to work with DraftKings, and we look forward to creating an engaging experience together for customers across the country,” McGhee said.
This partnership is expected to not only enrich user experience but also drive customer engagement in a rapidly evolving landscape of sports betting and predictions in various domains.
