In a significant advancement within the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector, Griffin AI has launched TEA Turbo, a new Transaction Execution Agent designed to streamline and simplify the user experience on Ethereum. Officially unveiled on September 18, 2025, TEA Turbo transforms user prompts expressed in plain language into ready-to-sign transactions, thereby reducing the complexity typically associated with multi-step DeFi processes.
The platform integrates deeply with liquidity providers like Uniswap and 1inch, while also incorporating native lending capabilities via Aave. This synergy aims to eliminate friction for users who may find traditional transaction methods tedious and prone to errors. By simply stating their transaction intent—such as “Swap 30% of my USDC to ETH” or “Deposit idle USDC into Aave”—users can benefit from TEA Turbo’s automated processes that validate balances, check liquidity, and generate a clear, actionable plan.
Oliver Feldmeier, Founder of Griffin AI, emphasized TEA Turbo’s transformative role in the execution layer of agentic finance. He noted that the platform will allow for coordinated, complex transactions with human oversight as various agents integrate with the system.
At its launch, TEA Turbo provides users with a comprehensive suite of features. They can swap tokens across platforms like Uniswap and 1inch, compare prices efficiently, deposit or withdraw from Aave pools, explore yield opportunities, and conduct transactions while incorporating essential safety checks. The integration of popular wallet services—including MetaMask, WalletConnect, and Ledger—further streamlines the user experience, as transactions occur directly on the Ethereum mainnet through the Griffin AI platform.
The user journey has been meticulously crafted for simplicity: users state their intent in clear language, TEA Turbo constructs the necessary plan, and after a detailed on-screen proposal, users confirm transactions securely in their wallets. Notably, TEA Turbo does not have access to user funds and cannot execute transactions autonomously, ensuring a robust security protocol.
Building on the success of its previous TEA Test release, TEA Turbo has marked a remarkable improvement in transaction speed, reducing the execution time from 43.7 seconds to just under 5 seconds—an 89% enhancement. This accomplishment emphasizes a streamlined “prompt → plan → proof → execute” workflow.
Sergej Kunz, Co-founder of 1inch, commented on the ease of integration with Griffin AI’s platform, highlighting the seamless experience it provides. He emphasized that empowering users to communicate their goals while allowing the agent to find optimal routing aligns with the vision for a user-friendly DeFi ecosystem.
Looking ahead, TEA Turbo is just one part of Griffin AI’s ambitious ecosystem, which includes research agents and a no-code Agent Builder, featuring over 15,000 community-designed agents. Future updates are set to expand network compatibility, integrate additional protocols, and enhance interoperability between execution, research, and risk management agents.
Griffin AI continues to position itself at the forefront of the DeFi landscape by leveraging artificial intelligence to facilitate the development and monetization of decentralized AI agents. With TEA Turbo, the company aims to redefine how transactions are executed, making the DeFi experience more accessible and efficient for a broader audience.
