Minister of Information, Hamza al-Mustafa, participated on Thursday in the “Tripoli Forum for Government Communication,” which is part of the broader “Tripoli Media Days” taking place in the Libyan capital. This forum seeks to address crucial topics related to enhancing government communication strategies and improving the efficacy of official media platforms to foster public trust.
During the sessions, a variety of subjects were discussed, including the significance of strategic communication in reinforcing state stability. The Minister focused on the importance of creating robust communication channels between government entities and the public, emphasizing the role of transparency and accountability in this process.
In addition, Minister al-Mustafa took part in a panel discussion specifically centered on the theme of “Arab Media and the Centrality of the Palestinian Cause.” In his remarks, he criticized the previous regime for misusing slogans related to the Palestinian struggle to suppress dissent within the country. He underscored the importance of reclaiming these symbols from political manipulation, calling for a more authentic and untainted expression of solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Syria’s participation in this forum aligns with the Ministry of Information’s ongoing initiatives to bolster Arab cooperation. The event provided a platform for exchanging technical knowledge and professional insights, aimed at enhancing capabilities in managing communication strategies and formulating media policies that reflect the evolving needs of Syria in its current phase.
