WWE’s popular reality competition series, “LFG (Legends & Future Greats),” is set to return for its third season with some exciting new additions to its coaching roster. According to sources at Fightful Select, the upcoming season will see “The Prizefighter” Kevin Owens and “The Lowkey Legend” Nattie Neidhart stepping into the roles of coaches and mentors. This shift occurs while the show is currently in production and preparing for its debut on A&E, although no premiere date has been confirmed yet.
“LFG” serves as a spiritual successor to the iconic “WWE Tough Enough,” first premiering in February 2025. The series spotlights aspiring wrestlers aiming for a breakthrough into the WWE. Each season, both a male and female contestant are awarded a coveted developmental contract with “WWE NXT.” Notable past winners of the competition include Jasper Troy and Tyra Mae Steele from the first season, as well as Shiloh Hill and Skylar Raye from the second.
Kevin Owens’s participation comes on the heels of a serious neck injury that previously kept him sidelined during WrestleMania 41 earlier this year. Despite this setback, the former Universal Champion appears to be recovering well, sharing a glimpse of his training efforts in a recent cardiovascular workout video shot at WWE’s Performance Center.
Nattie Neidhart, a well-respected figure in the wrestling community, brings her mentoring expertise to the show effortlessly. She, along with her husband, TJ Wilson, operates the renowned Dungeon training facility, where they provide training seminars and sessions tailored for both WWE and indie wrestlers. Not long ago, they both served as guest coaches at Bayley’s Lodestone Camp event, further showcasing their commitment to nurturing up-and-coming talent.
Owens and Neidhart will be stepping into the shoes of WWE Hall of Famers The Undertaker and Michelle McCool, who previously claimed the LFG mentorship titles in the first two seasons, respectively. Fans are looking forward to the dynamic impact these new coaches will have on the aspiring wrestlers aiming for their big break in the WWE landscape.
As more updates and details emerge regarding “LFG,” wrestling enthusiasts are urged to stay tuned for what promises to be another thrilling season of competition and mentorship in the ring.
