In an explosive segment of his Timcast IRL podcast, right-wing commentator Tim Pool unleashed a torrent of vitriol directed primarily at fellow conservative figures, most notably Candace Owens. His heated comments come amidst escalating tensions within right-wing circles, often described as a “MAGA civil war.”
During the livestream broadcast on Monday, Pool expressed his frustrations, declaring himself “f—ing done” with various factions of the conservative movement. The podcaster, who gained prominence during the Occupy Wall Street protests in 2011, vehemently criticized the influential organization Turning Point USA. He alleged that the group is being undermined by individuals promoting unfounded conspiracy theories related to the assassination of its co-founder, Charlie Kirk.
Pool’s diatribe included strong language as he described the current situation, stating, “The organization that helped get Donald Trump elected… is being gutted by f—ing psychopaths telling people to pull their donations.” He further condemned those he viewed as attempting to exploit Kirk’s tragic death for their gain, labeling them “pieces of human trash” and emphasizing the moral reprehensibility of their actions.
Owens, who has raised doubts about the circumstances surrounding Kirk’s murder, came under particular scrutiny from Pool. He labeled her a “f—ing evil scumbag,” accusing her of exacerbating the chaos within the conservative ranks. Earlier remarks she made suggest skepticism about the alleged assassin’s involvement, which have not only sparked controversy but also fueled suspicions regarding her motives and character.
Gesturing animatedly throughout his rant, Pool also criticized other conservatives who reached out to him in support but were reluctant to voice their opinions publicly. He expressed frustration at their perceived cowardice, saying, “All of these f—ing conservatives out there that send me these f—ing messages have no f—ing balls to call her out.” Pool implied that a growing number of conservatives privately sympathize with his stance but lack the courage to express it openly for fear of reprisals from Owens.
In response to Pool’s tirade, Owens took to social media to share clips of his outburst, remarking on his mental state. “He is genuinely not well right now,” she noted, suggesting that personal pressures may be influencing his behavior. Furthermore, she urged her followers not to exploit the incident for entertainment, expressing hope that Pool would navigate through his difficulties.
The discord between prominent figures in the conservative movement reflects deeper fractures in a coalition that has been increasingly strained by ideological divides, conspiracy theories, and public confrontations. As both Pool and Owens continue to vie for influence in the right-wing commentator landscape, their clashes are likely to draw further attention and exacerbate the ongoing tensions within their shared ideological sphere.
