Tom Brady has entered into a new partnership with Aescape, a company specializing in robotic massage devices, granting them exclusive rights to his personal recovery and longevity protocols. As part of this collaboration, Brady has assumed the role of chief innovation officer for Aescape, although the specific terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
Joining him in this venture is his business partner, Alex Spiro, who will act as a strategic advisor focusing on product development and supporting the company’s growth in capital markets.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, Brady’s successful career spanned 23 years, culminating in seven Super Bowl victories. He played until the age of 45, often citing his rigorous training and recovery routine as key factors in his prolonged success on the field. “After 23 years playing professionally, there’s no way I could have accomplished what I did without all the massage work and recovery protocols,” Brady stated. He emphasized the importance of the daily and weekly care he received, underlining his desire to make such recovery methods accessible to all.
Aescape was founded in 2017 by Eric Litman and is based in New York. The company utilizes artificial intelligence technology to automate and customize massage therapy. With over 100 locations in North America, Aescape has already delivered more than 25,000 massages using its robotic systems. Their partnerships include well-known fitness brand Equinox and several luxury hotel chains like Four Seasons, Marriott, and Ritz-Carlton.
According to Litman, the body requires ongoing maintenance much like any machine, and improved care can significantly extend its longevity. He noted a noticeable rise in demand for massage therapies among consumers, which has made Aescape an appealing option due to its affordability—starting at around $30 per service—and the convenience it offers, eliminating the need for showering before or after treatments.
Spiro stressed the growth potential for Aescape, highlighting opportunities to expand into various markets, including professional sports training facilities and potentially into homes. He believes that as production costs decrease and the company’s brand becomes more widely recognized, Aescape could democratize access to massage therapy, enhancing well-being for everyday people.
This partnership with Brady represents a significant milestone for Aescape as it seeks to innovate and reshape the massage therapy landscape through technology, aligning the expertise of one of sports’ most accomplished figures with cutting-edge wellness solutions.
