SharpLink Gaming, Inc., a significant player in the Ethereum landscape, has announced a major buyback of its common stock, purchasing 1,000,000 shares at an average price of $16.67. This initiative forms part of the company’s broader stock repurchase program initiated in late August. The recent acquisition contributes to a total of 1,938,450 shares repurchased since the program’s launch.

As of September 14, 2025, it was reported that the total staking rewards stood at 3,240 ETH following the implementation of SharpLink’s treasury strategy on June 2, 2025. In the same timeframe, the company’s total ETH holdings grew to an impressive 838,152, valued currently at approximately $3.86 billion. The ETH concentration ratio, a measure of the company’s asset allocation, increased to 3.97, marking a significant rise of over 98% since the treasury strategy was deployed.

SharpLink has expressed confidence in the value of its common stock, asserting that stock buybacks are an effective way to enhance shareholder value under prevailing market conditions. The company reports a net asset value (NAV) of $3.86 billion, translating to about $18.55 per diluted share, with no outstanding debt. Nearly all of its ETH holdings are staked, generating substantial revenue.

Joseph Chalom, Co-CEO of SharpLink, remarked on the broader ecosystem, stating that Ethereum is emerging as a foundational element of the digital asset economy. He noted the growing institutional interest in tokenization, as well as increased regulatory clarity worldwide, which he believes presents a historic opportunity for the company.

Chalom emphasized the importance of stockholder value and the strategy of expanding ETH concentration, underscoring a commitment to aligning the interests of SharpLink, Ethereum, and its shareholders. This approach aims to demonstrate how digital assets can be effectively utilized to create tangible value.

SharpLink is recognized as one of the largest publicly traded firms adopting ETH as its primary treasury reserve asset, which aligns with the future trajectory of digital capital. This strategic decision provides investors with direct exposure to Ethereum, the second-largest digital asset globally.

In efforts to enhance transparency and engage with investors, SharpLink has launched an ETH dashboard, offering valuable insights into market data, ETH concentration metrics, and other relevant information related to its treasury strategy.

The company, headquartered in Minneapolis, is actively redefining the future of online gaming, leveraging expertise in sports media, gaming, and technology to offer innovative, secure, and scalable solutions that challenge traditional models.

While the company remains optimistic about its future, it acknowledges the inherent risks and uncertainties associated with forward-looking statements regarding market conditions, regulatory changes, and operational performance.
