Vietnam Prosperity Crypto Asset Exchange Joint Stock Company (CAEX) has made significant strides in enhancing its operational framework through partnerships with notable global entities. On Friday, CAEX announced agreements with OKX Ventures and HashKey Capital, a key player in fintech investment. This strategic collaboration is set to bolster CAEX’s capabilities in navigating the burgeoning market of regulated crypto asset trading in Vietnam.
As CAEX gears up to comply with Government Resolution No 05/2025/NQ-CP, aimed at formalizing the crypto trading landscape, the investments from OKX Ventures and HashKey Capital will contribute funds crucial for achieving the minimum capital requirement of VNĐ10 trillion (approximately US$380 million) by April. This venture emphasizes the integration of local financial expertise and international crypto innovation, which is essential for fostering growth and ensuring regulatory compliance.
The partnership is not merely financial; it encompasses technical collaboration as well. Both OKX and HashKey Ventures will lend their expertise in areas such as technical infrastructure, security systems, compliance frameworks, and risk management. At the signing ceremony, CAEX Chairman and CEO Nguyễn Hồng Trung expressed optimism about the partnerships, stating, “We believe the cooperation with OKX Ventures and HashKey will enable CAEX to access and operate a crypto asset trading platform in line with international standards.” He emphasized CAEX’s commitment to creating a transparent and secure exchange, inviting investors to unlock opportunities in the digital asset space.
