Yorkville America Equities, which manages a series of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) associated with U.S. President Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform, is making significant strides in the cryptocurrency space. The firm has recently submitted registration documents to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for two new cryptocurrency ETFs that are likely to attract attention from investors.
The proposed ETFs, named the Truth Social Bitcoin and Ether ETF, are designed to provide investors with exposure to the two largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization—Bitcoin and Ethereum. In a parallel move, Yorkville also filed for the Truth Social Cronos Yield Maximizer ETF, which aims to invest in and stake CRO, the native token of Crypto.com’s Cronos blockchain.
These filings, while pending SEC approval, signal a notable expansion for Yorkville from politically branded investments into the burgeoning digital asset market. If granted the green light, these ETFs will be developed in partnership with Crypto.com, which will fulfill key roles as the digital asset custodian, liquidity provider, and staking services provider for the funds.
The Cronos Yield Maximizer ETF stands out due to its inclusion of staking rewards. These rewards are typically derived from activities that help secure proof-of-stake networks, such as Cronos, and could potentially position the fund as a yield-generating product in an industry that predominantly features passive spot ETFs.
Both cryptocurrency ETFs are set to be distributed through Foris Capital US LLC, a SEC-registered broker-dealer affiliated with Crypto.com.
Yorkville’s efforts within the crypto sector are not new; the company hinted at its intentions back in June 2025 by filing an S-1 registration statement for a spot Bitcoin ETF under the Truth Social brand. This initial move was followed by a filing for a Blue Chip Digital Asset ETF in July 2025, which aims to target a selection of large-cap altcoins. However, neither product has yet launched.
President Trump, who is the primary owner of Trump Media & Technology Group, the entity behind Truth Social, faces challenges related to his business ties within the cryptocurrency sector. These ties have become a significant factor in the ongoing discussions regarding the U.S. Senate’s Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, legislation aimed at regulating the oversight of U.S. cryptocurrency markets. This political landscape adds another layer of complexity to Yorkville’s ambitious move into cryptocurrency investments.
