Sarah Steele is set to reprise her role as Marissa Gold, marking her return to the universe that fans have grown to love. This appearance makes her the second actor from the franchise to reprise their original character, following Christian Borle’s guest role in Season 2 as Carter Schmidt.
Both Steele and Borle, in addition to Elsbeth star Carrie Preston, have the unique distinction of appearing in all three shows within the franchise. Their continued involvement reinforces the interconnectedness that viewers appreciate.
In the Good Wife, Steele’s character, Marissa Gold, made her debut during the show’s second season as the daughter of Eli Gold, portrayed by Alan Cumming.
