Netflix has announced that the highly anticipated fourth season of Lupin is set to premiere in the fall of 2026. The popular series, which has captivated audiences worldwide with its clever storytelling and charismatic lead, stars Omar Sy reprising his iconic role as the gentleman thief Assane Diop.
Joining Sy in the new season are a talented ensemble cast that includes Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab, Shirine Boutella, Théo Christine, and Laïka Blanc-Francard. Their return promises to add more depth and intrigue to the already thrilling narrative.
Reflecting on the events of Part 3, Assane Diop’s journey took a dramatic turn as he successfully steals the notorious Black Pearl. Along the way, he garnered substantial support from the French public and endured personal sacrifices, including faking his own death and navigating a complex relationship with his estranged mother. The season culminated in a gripping moment where Assane decides to turn himself into the police to secure a safe and quiet life for his loved ones, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats as he finds himself behind bars.
Inspired by the classic tales of the legendary character Arsène Lupin, the series has been created by George Kay in collaboration with François Uzan, along with contributions from Marie Roussin, Florent Meyer, and Tigran Rosine. The show is shepherded by Sy and Louis Leterrier as showrunners and is produced by Gaumont in partnership with Carrousel Studios.
