Tuyển bóng chuyền nữ Việt Nam dễ dàng đánh bại Malaysia 3-0 tại SEA Games 2025

In a commanding performance, the Vietnamese women’s volleyball team secured a resounding 3-0 victory against Malaysia in the second match of Pool B at the 2025 SEA Games. Despite not fielding their strongest lineup, the team showcased their dominance, emerging victorious with set scores of 25-8, 25-5, and 25-3.

Head coach Tuấn Kiệt opted for a second-string lineup, resting key players such as Trần Thị Thanh Thúy and Trần Thị Bích Thủy. Nevertheless, the team, currently ranked 28th in the world, demonstrated exceptional teamwork and cohesion on the court. As the match progressed, it became increasingly evident that the Vietnamese players were well-prepared, easily outmaneuvering their Malaysian counterparts.

Victorious in their first two matches, Vietnam now leads Pool B and is guaranteed a spot in the semifinals. The final match of the pool stage will see them face a formidable opponent in Indonesia, which will determine the top position in the group.

During the match against Malaysia, the Vietnamese team quickly took control. In the first set, they concluded the round in just 16 minutes, consistently scoring points with aggressive plays. The second set further exhibited their superiority, as they quickly built a 10-point lead, finishing decisively.

In the final set, even as Malaysia attempted to rally, they struggled to breach Vietnam’s defense. Key players like Như Quỳnh shone, contributing significantly to the team’s dominant performance.

Historically, Vietnam has enjoyed a favorable track record against Malaysia, winning all previous encounters. With this latest victory, the Vietnamese team continues to build momentum and confidence as they head into the more challenging stages of the tournament. As they prepare for their clash against Indonesia, fans and analysts alike will be eager to see if the team can maintain their unbeaten run in the SEA Games.
