NBCUniversal networks have been unavailable on FuboTV since November 21 due to a failure to reach a new agreement regarding their carriage deal. As a result, subscribers have been left without access to a variety of channels that include local NBC affiliates, Telemundo, NBC Sports, and popular entertainment networks such as Bravo, E! Entertainment Television, and USA Network, among others.
As of now, there is no definitive timeline for when these channels will return to the FuboTV lineup. However, a spokesperson for FuboTV stated that they are “diligently working with NBCU in good faith” to resolve the situation.
In light of the blackout, there are options available for subscribers who wish to continue watching content from NBCUniversal. New users can take advantage of a free trial with DIRECTV, which provides access to NBCU channels. Additionally, alternatives such as Sling TV and Peacock are available for streaming NBC content, with promotional offers currently on the table.
Regarding financial compensation for subscribers affected by the blackout, FuboTV confirmed that impacted customers will see a $15 credit automatically applied to their accounts after December 1, given that the blackout persists. The credits will be reflected in billing cycles starting on or after January 1, 2026, and current subscribers do not need to reach out to customer support to receive this credit.
Affected channels include a diverse lineup, such as NBC Sports networks like NBC Sports 4K, NBC Sports Bay Area, and several local NBC affiliates. Other impacted content providers include MSNBC, CNBC, Golf Channel, and various entertainment channels under NBCUniversal’s umbrella.
For those unfamiliar with available alternatives, DIRECTV offers more than 75 live TV channels along with on-demand content. Sling TV provides a customizable streaming experience with options for channel add-ons and DVR features. Meanwhile, Peacock, NBCUniversal’s own streaming service, features a wide range of movies, TV shows, and live sports, with subscription plans starting at $7.99 a month.
As the dispute continues, subscribers remain hopeful for a swift resolution that will restore access to their favorite programming.
