Crypto.com and international investment firm Galapagos Capital have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing digital asset offerings for clients. As part of this collaboration, Galapagos Capital intends to utilize the services and infrastructure of the Crypto.com Exchange to improve trading execution and accessibility for its clientele.

The Crypto.com Exchange is touted as an institutional-grade platform, providing a wide range of services to institutions and advanced traders. These services include spot trading, margin trading, derivatives trading, and over-the-counter (OTC) trading, alongside deep liquidity and competitive fees. Alain Yacine, who serves as the President for the Middle East and Latin America at Crypto.com, emphasized the importance of equipping institutions with secure and efficient means to engage with cryptocurrencies, which aligns with Crypto.com’s broader vision.

Yacine expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that it will help Galapagos Capital to offer a comprehensive platform, thereby granting clients direct access to digital assets. He noted that Galapagos Capital aims to leverage the trading capital and efficient funding management capabilities of the Crypto.com Exchange to better serve the diverse interests of its clients, which include individuals, families, and businesses.

The recent collaboration signifies the commencement of a project that will enable Galapagos Capital to develop a dedicated cryptocurrency asset trading solution. Over the coming months, both companies will work together to ensure that this offering meets Brazilian regulatory requirements and adheres to best practices in user experience.

Galapagos Capital is recognized for providing interconnected financial solutions and has been operational since 2019. The firm was founded by seasoned executives in the financial market and boasts a team of over 400 professionals across eleven offices in Brazil, with additional offices in Miami and Geneva. Currently, the company manages approximately 32 billion reais in assets, catering to a diverse range of investors.
