South Florida Motorsports, the promoter behind the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX, has announced the creation of the event’s inaugural official Fan Fest, a free-admission, five-day extravaganza set to elevate the Formula 1 experience beyond the confines of the Miami International Autodrome. Scheduled to take place from April 29 to May 3 at Lummus Park, this event aims to establish Miami Beach as the primary off-track destination for race week activities.
Katharina Nowak, President of the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “This creates a new way for fans to experience race week in Miami Beach, one of the most iconic destinations in the world.” She emphasized that the Fan Fest will not only heighten the excitement surrounding Formula 1 but also introduce new audiences to the sport that is rapidly gaining traction in the United States.
Throughout the week, attendees at the Ticketmaster Stage will have the chance to see select drivers and personalities, while enjoying fan-centric programming and live screenings of the racing action unfolding at the autodrome. Whether it’s practice, qualifying, or the main events, fans can come together for an immersive viewing experience just a short walk from the beach.
The Fan Fest is designed with varied activities in mind. Visitors will be able to engage in slot car racing challenges, shop for apparel at the MIA Shop, and capture memorable photos in front of elaborate sand sculptures. A champagne garden adds a touch of elegance, complemented by a diverse range of food and beverage options.
A collaboration with various brands will enhance the Fan Fest experience. Dermalogica will showcase its expertise in skincare through an experience called The D1 Pit Stop, which offers professional facial analysis and the chance to trial their latest products. This immersive setup will allow guests to engage with the brand in a meaningful way.
The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team will also make its mark at the event, presenting a show car in Lummus Park. This is a unique opportunity for fans to see a Formula 1 car up close and purchase licensed team merchandise in the distinctive Aston Martin Racing Green.
Red Bull is set to roll out a Fan Zone providing interactive race-related challenges, including pit stop contests and reaction time tests. Furthermore, fans can try their hand at racing simulators, with the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls show car offering more opportunities for memorable photos.
Ford Racing is gearing up to showcase its off-road vehicle lineup, including the celebrated F-150 Raptor and Bronco Raptor, while a dedicated merchandise store will offer items from America’s Race Team.
For those looking for a refreshing experience, the Heineken 0.0 FLAVORS Sampling Tour will offer tastings of newly launched alcohol-free flavors, while Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey will serve up cocktails from an on-site Airstream bar for guests aged 21 and above.
Beyond these thrilling offerings, Waymo will feature its self-driving cars, with an activation designed to allow guests to relax in a comfortable lounge area while enjoying the South Florida sun.
