Gold stars are set to be awarded to exceptional cadets and students at The Citadel, recognizing those who have achieved a grade point ratio of 3.7 or higher. This prestigious honor will be celebrated during an awards parade scheduled for September 12, where recipients will be presented with their gold stars, which they can display on their uniforms throughout the semester in acknowledgment of their academic achievements.
In addition to the gold stars, veteran and active duty students who earn recognition will also be honored with a black blazer, a gold star pin, and a challenge coin. Non-cadet students meeting the same academic criteria will receive a gold star recognition certificate.
The list of honored cadets and students from the South Carolina Corps of Cadets for their accomplishments during the spring semester of 2025 includes a diverse group of individuals, showcasing a wide range of talents and dedication to their studies.
