Gold stars are set to be awarded to exceptional cadets and students at The Citadel, recognizing those who have achieved a grade point ratio of 3.7 or higher. This prestigious honor will be celebrated during an awards parade scheduled for September 12, where recipients will be presented with their gold stars, which they can display on their uniforms throughout the semester in acknowledgment of their academic achievements.

In addition to the gold stars, veteran and active duty students who earn recognition will also be honored with a black blazer, a gold star pin, and a challenge coin. Non-cadet students meeting the same academic criteria will receive a gold star recognition certificate.

The list of honored cadets and students from the South Carolina Corps of Cadets for their accomplishments during the spring semester of 2025 includes a diverse group of individuals, showcasing a wide range of talents and dedication to their studies.

Among the distinguished recipients are Emma Adams, Melton Adams, Aidan Alexander, and Thomas Armaly, along with many others who have exemplified academic excellence. The list continues with cadets such as Carson Arnold, Wyatt Atkins, Mason Ayers, and Everett Babcock, highlighting the significant achievements across the corps.

The Citadel Graduate College also recognizes outstanding performance, ensuring that the spirit of dedication and academic pursuit is celebrated within its ranks as well.

This event promises to not only acknowledge individual accomplishments but also to inspire all students to strive for excellence in their academic endeavors. For more details about the South Carolina Corps of Cadets and The Citadel Graduate College, additional resources are available through their respective platforms.
