American Bitcoin Corp. (Nasdaq: ABTC) has successfully energized a significant number of Bitcoin miners at its Drumheller facility, with approximately 11,298 units now operational. This deployment enhances the company’s active mining capacity by an impressive 3.05 exahash per second (EH/s).
The newly integrated equipment consists of Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) that were acquired earlier this year. Notably, these units operate with a high efficiency of 13.5 joules per terahash (J/TH), which plays a crucial role in boosting the overall performance of the company’s mining fleet.
With this expansion, American Bitcoin now boasts an operational fleet that consists of about 58,999 miners. Collectively, this fleet achieves a combined hashrate of 25.0 EH/s, with an average efficiency rating of 14.1 J/TH. Furthermore, the total owned fleet, including miners that are yet to be energized, is approximately 89,242 units. This broader inventory reflects a potential capacity of 28.1 EH/s, with an average efficiency of 16.0 J/TH.
This recent energization marks the operational completion of a fleet expansion initiative that was initially announced on March 3, 2026. American Bitcoin Corp. has indicated that this deployment aligns with its strategic goals to augment its Bitcoin reserves through hardware optimization and effective energy management.
The company remains committed to increasing its Bitcoin holdings through systematic mining operations. By employing a disciplined approach to hardware deployment and managing energy costs effectively, American Bitcoin aims to sustain its production model and foster growth in this competitive market.
