Archax has officially launched real-time streaming cash flows for tokenized securities on the Hedera network, a move aimed at revolutionizing how interest payments are distributed. This groundbreaking service, which was announced on June 11, 2026, allows interest payments to reach investors’ wallets almost instantaneously, transforming income distribution from a typical batch process to a continuous, real-time flow. By utilizing Circle’s USDC stablecoin as the settlement currency, Archax leverages the native capabilities of Hedera to facilitate long-awaited improvements in efficiency and transparency for institutional investors.

Under this new framework, while an investor holds a tokenized security, payments accrue directly to their wallet in real time, rather than accumulating as a calculated balance. This innovative approach ensures that as ownership of the tokens changes hands during trading, the cash flows automatically transfer to the new holder. Moreover, because the underlying assets are fractionalized, payments can be divided accordingly; for instance, if a wallet represents one-tenth of a token, it will receive one-tenth of the per-second cash flow. Traditional markets rely on ex-dividend dates and record dates to determine payment recipients, but Archax’s streaming model eliminates these limitations altogether.

The Hedera network itself supports a swift settlement process, typically completing transactions within three to five seconds and costing mere fractions of a cent. This efficiency allows for the processing of a high volume of micropayments without significant transaction fees, making it an ideal platform for the deployment of regulated financial products. Additionally, since USDC operates natively on Hedera, Archax can maintain regulatory compliance without the added complexities of bridging or wrapped tokens, which often introduce operational risks.

Archax has already established a robust lineup of tokenized funds, collaborating with renowned financial institutions such as BlackRock, Fidelity International, and State Street. In February 2025, the HBAR Foundation invested in Archax tokens linked to Fidelity’s USD Money Market Fund. The subsequent launch of Pool Tokens in September 2025 enabled the bundling of multiple tokenized funds into a single asset, adding further versatility to the platform. With the introduction of streaming cash flows, Archax not only enhances its existing product offerings but also extends the efficiency of capital markets.

This advancement shifts traditional income products from fixed schedules tied to the calendar, such as coupon dates and payment agents, towards a model where yield is paid as it accrues—continuously and automatically on the blockchain. According to Graham Rodford, CEO and co-founder of Archax, this change transforms the market into a real-time environment, streamlining operations while reducing the complexity associated with post-trade reconciliation.

The implications of this technology reach far beyond tokenized funds. Although streaming payment concepts have existed in decentralized finance (DeFi) associated with payroll and grants, Archax has adapted these ideas to comply with FCA and EU regulations. This advancement opens doors to various applications, including continuous coupon payments on tokenized bonds and real-time distributions for private credit and royalties. It also allows for usage-based payments in sectors such as data, energy, and software subscriptions.

As tokenized real-world asset markets have reached a substantial $34 billion valuation in mid-2026, the industry’s infrastructure is increasingly shifting towards blockchain. Major financial actors, including BlackRock, are leading the way in tokenized treasuries, yet many existing projects still rely on traditional scheduled settlement cycles. As the market evolves, a focus on on-chain lifecycle management is becoming paramount. The introduction of streaming cash flows addresses one of the last significant gaps between tokenized issuance and servicing, positioning Archax as a frontrunner in redefining market operations.
