Bitget Wallet has made a significant leap in its offerings by integrating xStocks, a move that enriches its real-world asset portfolio with over 130 tokenized equities products. This enhancement elevates the total number of assets within the Bitget Wallet to more than 300, solidifying its position in the ever-evolving digital asset landscape.
The integration provides Bitget Wallet’s user base—comprising over 90 million individuals—with seamless access to a diverse array of investment options, including tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, precious metals, and index-linked assets. Users can now engage in trading these assets through the same mobile interface they utilize for their cryptocurrency transactions, streamlining their investment experience.
xStocks specializes in offering tokenized exposure to major U.S. equities and ETFs, with its tokens reportedly backed 1:1 by the underlying securities. The platform has quickly gained traction, becoming one of the largest tokenized equity networks globally, with transaction volumes exceeding $30 billion after surpassing $25 billion earlier this year.
This integration enables users to engage in tokenized equity trading without the need for traditional brokerage accounts or custodial intermediaries, making the process more straightforward and accessible. The launch also incorporates innovative liquidity models such as Request for Quote (RFQ) and Automated Market Maker (AMM), which Bitget anticipates will reduce trading friction and facilitate access beyond conventional market hours.
The popularity of tokenized equities has surged as cryptocurrency platforms increasingly bring real-world assets into on-chain trading environments. Previously, Bitget Wallet had expanded its selection of tokenized stocks and ETFs through a partnership with Ondo Finance, building its suite of on-chain equities to over 200 assets before this latest integration with xStocks.
Alvin Kan, COO of Bitget Wallet, emphasized that this integration enhances the wallet’s all-in-one asset shelf by seamlessly combining crypto, tokenized stocks, and ETFs into one self-custodial interface. Val Gui, GM of xStocks, echoed the sentiment, stating that tokenized equities should be readily accessible within the wallets users already trust, rather than confined to isolated platforms.
To celebrate this integration, Bitget Wallet is offering a 20% bonus in xPoints, marking the introduction of the first wallet-specific boost within its xPoints program, further incentivizing users to explore the newly available asset offerings.
