A downtown Las Vegas casino is making headlines with its ambitious three-day event dedicated to cryptocurrency, specifically Bitcoin. Circa hotel-casino is set to host this initiative from April 27 to April 29, aligning the event with the Las Vegas Bitcoin conference. The property plans to incorporate Bitcoin branding, themed programming, and crypto-focused food and beverage specials throughout the resort, emphasizing its commitment to being a “crypto-friendly environment” year-round.
CEO Derek Stevens expressed enthusiasm about the event, noting that it exemplifies how digital currency can enhance the casino-resort experience. “We’ve embraced Bitcoin since the beginning of Circa, including having our own Bitcoin ATM on property,” he stated. Stevens aims for guests to witness how effortlessly Bitcoin can integrate into various aspects of their stay, from enjoying amenities to dining experiences.
A standout feature of the event is the high-end “Vegas Bucket List Package,” available for purchase at the price of one Bitcoin. This exclusive package includes a luxurious stay in Circa’s expansive 1,830-square-foot Founder’s Suite, along with 20 upscale king rooms. Guests will also enjoy VIP seating at the resort’s sportsbook, as well as entrance to a private Stadium Swim party hosted by Stevens himself. Additional perks include a buyout of the Legacy Club rooftop lounge, a curated dinner experience at Barry’s Downtown Prime with renowned chef Barry S. Dakake, and a private meal at Andiamo Steakhouse at the D Las Vegas, prepared by chef Neil Piche. The package is rounded out with limousine transportation to and from the airport.
The Circa casino not only accepts Bitcoin but also features a 24-hour on-site Bitcoin ATM. Its sister establishments, The D and Golden Gate, join in accepting Bitcoin for non-gaming purchases. However, it’s noteworthy that Nevada regulations prohibit the direct use of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on casino floors, mandating that any digital funds must be converted before they can be used for wagering.
Meanwhile, the Venetian hotel-casino is preparing to host Bitcoin 2026. Last year’s Bitcoin conference in Las Vegas was marked by the attendance of Vice President J.D. Vance, with this year’s lineup set to include speeches from key figures like U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Paul Atkins and U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Mike Selig.
