Crypto.com Ronni Agnig

Crypto exchange operator Crypto.com has made a significant addition to its team with the appointment of Ronni Agnig as the new VIP Relations Manager at its London office. Agnig’s hiring marks a strategic development for the company as it intensifies its focus on expanding operations and enhancing client relationships in the United Kingdom.

Before joining Crypto.com, Agnig held the position of Premium Account Executive at IG Group, a prominent UK online broker, where he cultivated extensive experience over four years. His background in premium account management aligns with the company’s goal of providing exceptional service to high-value clients within the digital asset space.

This appointment is notable as Agnig becomes the first senior hire for the newly established Crypto.com UK team, which was founded last year under the leadership of Sam Irwin, a former IG Group executive and now the Director of VIP Relationship Management at Crypto.com. Irwin’s vision involves scaling the company’s VIP offerings and enhancing the overall client experience, particularly for sophisticated users.

Crypto.com is actively positioning itself to extend its influence beyond simple cryptocurrency transactions into a broader range of financial services. Last year, the company acquired a CySEC Cypriot Investment Firm (CIF) license through its purchase of A.N. Allnew Investments Ltd, the operator of BrightFX. This strategic move enabled the company to offer Contracts for Difference (CFDs) and other traditional financial products across the European Union.

In addition to these developments, Crypto.com is in the process of building its Prediction Markets operation, further diversifying its service offerings.

In a recent LinkedIn post, Agnig expressed his enthusiasm about joining Crypto.com, stating, “I’m excited to share that I’ve joined Crypto.com as a VIP Relationship Manager. In this role, I’ll be the first client-facing hire for Crypto.com in the UK, helping to build and scale the firm’s VIP offering while supporting some of our most sophisticated clients. It’s a privilege to join such a talented team at an exciting time for both the company and the broader digital asset ecosystem. I’m looking forward to contributing to the next phase of growth!”

As Crypto.com continues to evolve and adapt to the rapidly changing landscape of digital finance, the addition of experienced personnel like Agnig signals its commitment to delivering high-quality service and leveraging market opportunities in both cryptocurrency and traditional finance sectors.
