Exodus Movement has taken a significant step in enhancing its digital asset security by appointing Crypto.com Custody Trust Company as its official custodian. This collaboration aims to bolster the security and regulatory compliance of Exodus’s treasury management.

Under the new agreement, Crypto.com Custody Trust will provide institutional-grade custody services for Exodus, leveraging its regulated framework and robust infrastructure to protect digital assets. This strategic partnership is designed to complement Exodus’s existing self-custody model, thereby diversifying its treasury management practices and adding an additional layer of security to its operations.

Eric Anziani, the president and chief operating officer at Crypto.com, expressed enthusiasm regarding the partnership, stating that they are “pleased to support Exodus as their digital asset custodian of choice.” He emphasized the importance of the collaboration in reinforcing Exodus’s position as a leader in the self-custody space. Anziani noted, “By providing our best-in-class, regulated and secure custody solutions, we help Exodus strengthen its treasury management while continuing to innovate for millions of customers worldwide.”

Exodus has firmly established itself as an innovator in self-custody solutions and considers this recent move as part of its broader mission to merge innovation with responsible practices in the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency sector. JP Richardson, the chief executive of Exodus, highlighted that their choice of Crypto.com Custody Trust Company allows them to not only safeguard a portion of their treasury with institutional-grade protection but also reiterates their commitment to operating responsibly within the regulatory frameworks that will shape the future of digital assets.

The partnership is set to enhance Exodus’s resilience in an industry that is currently experiencing increased scrutiny regarding security and compliance issues. Additionally, it offers greater assurance to customers seeking reliability in their digital asset management.
