American Bitcoin has announced the activation of approximately 11,298 additional mining machines at its Drumheller facility, significantly boosting its operational capabilities. This latest deployment adds about 3.05 exahashes per second (EH/s) of computing power, achieving an efficiency rate of roughly 13.5 joules per terahash (J/TH). This addition marks the completion of a previously outlined expansion plan.
With this upgrade, American Bitcoin’s total fleet has now expanded to roughly 89,242 miners, which collectively deliver about 28.1 EH/s at an average efficiency of 16.0 J/TH. The expansion is a testament to the company’s strategy of scaling its hashrate while maintaining optimal operational efficiency, focusing particularly on managing energy costs and deploying advanced hardware.
In conjunction with its operational enhancements, American Bitcoin has made strides in accumulating Bitcoin, bringing its total holdings to about 7,000 BTC. With current market prices hovering around $79,000, these assets are valued at over $550 million. The company’s cryptocurrency holdings have experienced substantial growth since its public debut, rising from 2,443 BTC at its initial public offering in September 2025 to surpassing 4,000 BTC by November of the same year.
Over the past month, Bitcoin itself has seen a rise of approximately 11%, while shares of American Bitcoin have surged by about 40.7%, indicative of investor confidence in the company’s strategic direction and growth prospects. This remarkable alignment of operational advancements and market performance underscores American Bitcoin’s commitment to innovation and growth in the evolving cryptocurrency landscape.
