HIVE Digital has made notable strides in its mining operations, as detailed in its August production update. The company reported mining 247 BTC in August 2025, marking a significant 22% increase from July’s total of 203 BTC. This upward trend in production is reflected in the average daily output, which rose to 8 BTC from 6.6 BTC in the previous month.
In addition to this production growth, HIVE achieved a milestone by surpassing 18 EH/s of global mining capacity with the completion of Phase 2 of its Yguazú project. The average hashrate for August stood at 16.3 EH/s, with a peak reaching 18.1 EH/s. Furthermore, the company improved its fleet efficiency to 18.5 J/TH, a modest enhancement from July’s efficiency of 19 J/TH.
The company is also nearing the conclusion of its 100 MW Phase 3 Valenzuela project. Recently, the first six Bitmain S21+ Hydro containers, which collectively provide approximately 350 PH/s, went online. This addition has boosted HIVE’s global fleet to an impressive 18.5 EH/s. Once Phase 3 is fully operational, expected by Thanksgiving 2025, the company anticipates elevating its capacity towards a target of 25 EH/s, which could potentially raise its mining output to around 12 BTC per day.
In a recent update, HIVE confirmed the early completion of its Yguazú Phase 2 site, enhancing its operational capabilities.
As of the latest market data, HIVE’s stock has risen by 1.9% during pre-market hours, indicating positive investor sentiment driven by these advancements in operational performance and capacity expansion.
