FedEx also advises customers to consult their local offices for specific holiday hours, as some may close on July 3 and 4, while standard delivery services will continue on Friday, albeit with earlier-than-usual schedules in certain areas. Service will be suspended on Saturday.
As for banking operations, major institutions such as JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo will keep doors open on July 3, with most banks closing on July 4 according to their holiday schedules. Notably, the stock market will close on July 3 in observance of Independence Day, with trading set to resume on Monday, July 6, at 9:30 a.m. ET.
